On behalf of the family of Frank and Elizabeth Mwakasisi, I am deeply saddened to announce the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Mwakasisi that took place on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Bronson Hospital, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Elizabeth was undergoing treatment for breast cancer at the time of her death.
Funeral arrangements are being made for Mrs. Elizabeth Mwakasisi to be laid to rest in Portage, Michigan, USA. A message will be sent out as soon as the date is finalized
The memorial service that was tentatively scheduled for Saturday August 28, 2010 has been cancelled. Please pass this message about the cancellation to anybody you know was planning to attend
The estimated cost of Funeral Home services, the funeral and a reception after the funeral is $18,000.00. We currently have $5,220.00 collected. To help raise funds to meet the challenge of $18,000.00, I urge every Tanzanian and friends of the Mwakasisi family to give generously to meet the goal of resting Elizabeth in peace. A target date of Friday September 2nd has been set to raise the balance of the funds.
