President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete hands over a letter of appointment to Mr.Doug Pitt recognising him officially as Tanzania's Goodwill ambassador for tourism in recognition for his efforts in promoting tourism activities in Tanzania that led to a significant increase of American tourists in the country.The brief colouful ceremony was held in New York this evening.
